About the 6D Lotto
The 6D Lotto, also known as the 6-Digit Game or the 6-Digit Lotto, is a sweepstakes-style game that was first launched on December 11, 1997, by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The gameplay involves the drawing of six digits from six separate orbits. To secure a win, players must correctly guess the winning combination in the correct order. The probability of winning is boosted to 1 in 1,000,000. While the game was initially available solely in the Luzon regions, it expanded to a nationwide audience beginning February 11, 2020.
The minimum jackpot prize for 6D Lotto starts at ₱150,000.00 and if there is no jackpot winner for a given draw, the jackpot prize pool amount will be carried forward to the next draw.
How to Play the 6D Lotto
To play the 6D Lotto, you need to buy a ticket from any authorized lotto outlet nationwide. Each ticket costs 10 pesos and contains six numbers from 0 to 9. You can choose your own numbers or opt to play the Lucky Pick (LP) option, where the computer will randomly generate your numbers for you. You can also play up to six combinations per ticket. If an error is made, mark the “VOID” box to indicate that the board is cancelled.
How to Win the 6D Lotto: Winning Options Explained
To win the jackpot prize in the 6D Lotto, you need to match all six winning numbers in exact order. If two or more persons win the jackpot, the prize is divided equally among all the winners, with each winner’s payment determined by equally dividing the total jackpot amount. If there are no jackpot winners, the prize will be added to the next draw.
If you match the first or last five, four, three, or two winning numbers in exact order, you can also win minor prizes. The prize amounts vary depending on the number of winners and the jackpot amount.
Here is a table showing the different winning options and their prize amounts:
Match | Prize |
---|---|
6 of 6 numbers | Jackpot (minimum of P150,000.00) |
first 5 or last 5 of 6 numbers | Up to P40,000 |
first 4 or last 4 of 6 numbers | Up to P4,000 |
first 3 or last 3 of 6 numbers | P400 |
first 2 or last 2 of 6 numbers | P40 |
6D Lotto Ticket Price
A 6D Lotto ticket costs 10 pesos per combination. This includes a 20% documentary stamp tax (DST). If you play more than one combination or use the system play option, you need to pay accordingly.
