About Basilan
The Treasure Island of the Southern Seas is Basilan. This is because of the Spanish Pigafetta Expedition that led to their discovery of Basilan’s abundance in precious pearls. Additionally, there are stories of gold bars and other treasures hidden by the Japanese in various islets.
